Volunteer with Riverfront Theater Company
-
Backstage
We always need volunteers to help with our technical needs for shows! This can range from more physically demanding work like building sets, hanging lights, preparing sound equipment, and run crew to roles like props, costumes, painting, and more. Some opportunities are on a longer term basis (e.g. the duration of a show) and others are drop-in friendly.
Always wanted to learn a technical theater skill but never had a chance? Don’t let that stop you - we’re happy to teach you!

Front-of-House
For every performance, we need a handful of volunteers to help us give our patrons an excellent experience. Tasks may include checking patrons in, selling tickets, and assisting with concessions. You must be 21+ to assist with concessions.
This opportunity is perfect for folks with a busy schedule who want to help, but may not have a ton of free time. You can sign up for as few or as many performances as you’d like!

Board Members
This opportunity is for people who are ready for a regular volunteering commitment with Riverfront where you can roll up your sleeves to help guide the organization. Our board consists of several elected positions, committees, members-at-large, and our Junior Board.
Board meetings and committee meetings are held every other month on an alternating schedule. Meeting participation is encouraged, but not required.
Board members have the opportunity to be a part of our decision-making process and use their skills to influence the future of RTC.
